    Using Vegas Pro 10c.

After converting my .MTS files to low-resolution .avi for proxy editing using Gilles Pialat’s excellent Proxy Stream 15e, I tried to batch replace with the original .MTS files using Gilles Pialat’s Batch Replace v1.0. I always get the message “not found,” even though the corresponding .MTS files are indeed in the appropriate folder. Replacing the files one by one in the project media window (right click, replace) works fine, but that takes a great deal of time.

Batch replace v.1.0 seems like a wonderful script — and seems to work very well for others in this and other forums.

What am I doing wrong? Thanks for any insights.

Sorry, never used that script before.
Just wanted to mention that i see you are using
Vegas 10.0c when version 10.0e is available.

Gilles Pialat was kind enough to send me a PM with the solution:

“Proxy Stream has its own switch module to replace proxy/source files (see the “Switch” Tab) so you don’t need the batch Replace script.”

Somehow I overlooked this in his “readme.txt”

Great little tool — and so simple to use!
