    Hey all,

I shoot in 1080 60i, I want to get the best render for web playback I can get, so I’ve been playing with render and project settings and found something odd.

If my source video file is 1080 60i, which has a Field Order (which I’m not really even sure what that is) of Upper Field First, but then when I render, if I try to make the Field Order in the Custom Render Settings Upper Field First, I get an error.

    Why????

My 2nd, and overall important question is, what can I do to get the best quality web video rendered from my 1080 60i footage?

You should render you footage as either Sony AVC or MainConcept AVC with one of the “Internet” templates. These are designed for high quality internet playback.
