  Rendering issus

  Hi

  I have shot a video with Canon Legria HF-S21. The video is recorded as an AVCHD video, 24Mbps, 1920×1080, 25 frames/second

  I am using Vegas Movie Studio HD Platinum 10 and DVD Architect 5.0. I want to create both a DVD and a BluRay disk.
  I want to add som menus and stuff before creating the disk.

  But when I create the DVD I think the result is not as good as I expected. I know that resolution will be reduced on the DVD. But still I had expected the result to be better.

  Can anybody tell me the best way to do this?

  Should I render to AVI? And add it as AVI in DVDA. Or maybe mpg-2?
  Should I use the same settings for both DVD and BluRay?

  Any thoughts?

  DVD should be rendered as MPEG2.

  The DVD resolution is 576 pixels wide, so quality will obviously be much much lower that the original 1920×1080.

  Regarding BluRay, I am afraid that Movie Studio 10 does not support this format (not 100% sure though).
