  • Using newly edited video from Vegas with older rev menus in DVD Architect

    All you experts out there..

I used Vegas to create/edit my video and add all of my chapter marker in the video. After rendering it transfers the video to DVD Architect where I generate menus to burn on the DVD – all is well. I discovered something I did not like in the video and went back to Vegas to touch it up generating and rendered a new version. How do I use the newly edited video with the previous version of my menus in DVD Architect? All of my chapter marker names are exactly the same and I just want to associate the menus with the new video.

I figured out how to insert the new video in DVD Architect but not how to bind the old menu links to the chapters. Is there an easy import/bind process to facilitate easy edit of the video and link to the old version of menus?

Any tips or advice is appreciated.

    Thanks, vito

The absolute easiest way is to rename the old video and rename the new video to be what the old one was. Then open DVD architect and you’re done.

Alternately, double-click on the media in DVD Architect so that it opens in the timeline and drag the new media to the timeline and drop it to replace the old media.

Close DVDA, re-encode the mpeg file in Vegas with the same name. Open DVDA and you should see what you want.
