Hi All, I am hoping I camn get some help with an effect I am looking to get in Sony Vegas

Essentially what I would like to do is have an effect where several consequtive frames are visable at the same time on the screen, similar to how its been done here but with video

    https://youtu.be/LVdiNr4ZRK4?t=5s

The reason for doing this is for technical analysis so you can follow the trace of movement to see what you are doing (or not doing!). Does anyone know how you might do this?

Ideally it should be a way that you can add the effect at the set point in the video, so in the example I am looking for is when rowing you put the oars in the water the effect starts, and then you can see what the body is doing as the frames are overlaid ontop of each other over and over again one at a time. It would also be great of the older frms faded away after a set amount of time (say 20 frames later) although thats not as important.

    Any ideas?

just copy the event on multiple tracks, offset by the amount you want to show, and reduce the opacity of the tracks on top of the “master” track.

Here’s the veg file (Vegas Pro 11): 3472_progression.veg.zip
just substitute your own video clip.
