Recovering deleted video from Canon Vixia HF S21
I’ve used eSupport Undelete plus to recover deleted video from my Vixia’s hard drive successfully before. But eSupport always hangs when trying to scan it now and gives me a “Not responding” message.
I bought Stellar Phoenix Photo Recovery, which is specifically recommended for the Vixia HF S21. It recovered the video, but cuts it up into 13 second segments, with frames dropped at the beginning and end of each clip. The video is 10 or 15 minutes of continuous footage, so that won’t work.
Is there anything else I can use? I don’t have much more money to spend on this (and, in fact, may get the video recovered from the hard drive that crashed on my computer, but it’s going to be a few days before I hear back with the results). I’m just trying to make this faster for my client.
My camera uses FAT files. I tried a free version of GetDataBack for FAT-and I think I was pretty tired when I checked the results-it didn’t give me anything useful.
