  When I render some clips are black. Vegas 11

  I was having a problem with the “Low Memory” issue with Vegas 10 on an XP OS. I decided to upgrade to windows 7 64 bit and Vegas 11. I was finally able to render my whole project but now I have a different problem. First I rendered with the “Video for Windows (.avi)” and the NTSC DV template and 1 clip had the video black but I was still able to hear the audio. I then tried to render with the WMV Codec and the 5 mbps HD 720 template and there is about 5 minutes of just black. No video or sound. How can I fix this?

  Open two instances of Vegas, one new one (please save it under a different name) and one with your existing project.
  Do a copy/paste of everything from your old project to the new one and try rendering it again.
