  Vegas Pro 11 + GeForce GTX 570 + Nvidia 3D Vision = App not rated error

  I’ve configured a Vegas Pro 11 3D editing system under the impression that I would NOT be needing an Nvidia Quadro card and 3D Vision Pro.

  I have 3D footage (.m2ts files from a Sony NX3D1) I would like to preview in 3D in 64-bit Vegas Pro 11. I’m running an Nvidia GeForce GTX 570 card and an Acer HN274H 3D monitor via DVI-D.

  All drivers are current.

  These .m2ts files play back fine in Stereoscopic Player, but when I attempt to preview them in Vegas Pro 11 I receive a “This application is not rated by NVIDIA corp.” error.

  Has anyone out there properly configured a Vegas Pro 11 – Nvidia GeForce – Nvidia 3D Vision (not Pro) system?

  I assume this would be in high demand given the low cost of the Sony HDR-TD10 and other lower-end 3D video cameras hitting the market.

  Unfortunately Aron, i have never done any configuration as to
  like what you have done, But i think you should contact NVIDIA
  regarding that “not rated” message.

  Thanks Steve, I actually have contacted Nvidia. They said that Sony Vegas 11 was not on “the list” of supported 3D Vision applications.

  However, on page 126 of the Vegas Pro 11 manual it describes how to configure a 3D Vision graphics card (although that obviously isn’t working for me).
