  Sony Vegas applies noise gate to audio while rendering

  I use Sony Vegas 10. When rendering (tried MXF and AVC, crashes on Windows video) the sound tracks appear to have a noise gate applied to them. I spoke to another vegas user who told me to look at tools, audio and fx and yes, i discovered that it had indeed applied not only noise gate but a couple of other fx as well. I removed them, saved the file, but it still applies the filters to the audio and I when looking at the tools, audio, fx they are clean. Any suggestions? Thanks!!
