Event Pan/Crop Workspace too small
I’m not sure what i’m doing wrong, but it seems as though my workspace is too small. The lantern (aka the rectangle) will only go that far to the edge of the screen. I cant drag the F any farther.
I’ve tried what others have said, to right click the picture and have match output aspect, but that only makes the lantern bigger when i need it smaller. Even when i do that, it still cant get to either side of the screen. Its pretty much stuck in the middle.

If you tried everything, then that rectangle is a large
resolution image…Use a photo editing application (eg:photoshop)
to reduce the size of it (even less than half), and you should be ok.Steve Rhoden

Ok, i cut the image to about half, but i am still unable to make the workspace big enough to make it go all the way to the side:
Then when i turn off maintain aspect ratio, it can go to the side but the picture is squished and i cant drag the box out anymore to make it look right (since the workspace is too small…)

I was having trouble with the borders, but i think i fixed it! Disregard this post. But i’m still having problems with my first post (delete if you can!)
I’m also have trouble removing the borders to my video. Following a guide, i set my template the same as the video source. Then i right click the clip and uncheck maintain aspect ratio. Then i go to event/crop and uncheck lock aspect ratio. After that i moved the square to get rid of the bars. After a few clips it was going fine, until i hit a cross effect with two videos (using a mask). I tried, but the “source” drop down was not there, so i couldn’t uncheck lock aspect ratio. I’m assuming i cant remove the borders because i’m already using the event/crop for something else?
Any other way i can remove borders or am i missing something again..
Hole reason i want to remove them is because in one scene i am zooming in, but when i do the zoom in it takes the borders with it and ruins it. If i cant remove the borders, is there a way to zoom in without the bars going with it?
