f4v flash video pulsing
My vegas render looks smooth and fine as avi or mp4, but no matter what settings I try when using the Adobe Media Encoder (Adobe CS 5.5) I get visual pulsing or stuttering when the footage has motion.
I hesitate to use mp4 because it’s my understanding that it has to download completely before starting to play when you don’t use a streaming server (unlike progressive download flash video).

This is probably a question best asked in the Adobe forum. You should also be aware that MP4 files encoded by Adobe Media Encoder have a nasty habit of looking washed out when viewed in the QuickTime Player. That’s why I don’t use it. Sony AVC files don’t have this problem and retain their blacks.

This is easily fixed by running your Sony AVC files thought MP4FastStart. It works in seconds.
