  Why can’t I find any free plugins for vegas 9?

  I’ve been searching everywhere for some extra plugins for sony vegas 9 to add more transitions, etc. But other than a few extremely expensive ones like Boris FX, and NewBlue, I have come up empty handed. Are there any free plugins out there?
