Trouble with velocity envelopes on Sony Vegas 8.0
I didn’t have this problem until recently, oddly enough. Lately, when I try to speed up a video clip, the clip will just go completely black. I’ll see nothing but black where the video should be until it moves on to the next clip. Why is it doing this and how can I fix it?

What’s different this time? Is this event a different video format than you usually use? What video format is it?

do you have many events on the timeline, especially with many fx put on? how much many media files in your bins? what type of media makes the problem? at first glance i’d say it is the memory problem, but we need more info in fact to say sth reasonable.
