I am doing a picture in picture of a TV monitor. The monitor is turned about 45 degrees away from my camera.

I am trying to use the cropping tool, but that only seems to rotate and resize it.

I need to make the top left and top right closer to gether than top and bottom left. You know, to get the vanishing effect toward the horizon.

    What am I missing?

    Thanks

In the track header of the video track you want to do this with, Click the “Compositing Mode” button (Little green square with an a in it) and select 3D Source Alpha. Now when you click Track motion on that track, you will be able to orient it in 3D instead of just 2D. Set the orientation,X to a negative number and it will make the top not as wide as the bottom. You would only neeed to use the event pan and crop to crop or change the aspect ratio to fit in the TV screen, then use Track motion to resize, position and 3d orient it to fill the TV screen Hope this helps, Danny Hays

You can also use Deform fx (though, it’s not so easy as 3D Track Motion)

    Thank You Danny.

That is exactly what I needed.

Of course I would have prefered it at the event level, but I can make it work at the track level.
