Anyone interested in doing some Beta testing for DA templates?
Greetings,
I hope I am not breaking any forum rules. If I am, it’s unintentional. I’ve been a Cow reader for many years and finally started talking on the forum a little bit this year. I need to chime in more. That being said, I’ve been working on some templates to be used in DVD Architect. They were brought about by short comings I came in contact with when I tried some other third party products for menus from .psd files and using the (what I find unattractive) menus provided with the program.
I have gotten the initial version done to where it saves me a bunch of time, and I think it looks pretty good too. What I hope to do is have them for sale for a minimal cost (helps keep the wife at home with my 3 boys). That being said, I thought I would see if anyone would be interested in pounding on them to see if what other thought, and what someone else would want.
I love DVD Architect, but it does have some short comings with design, so this is phase one of a product that is aimed at giving designers a quicker way to design menus and discs with out having to redesign the whole thing every time.
Here is a link to a .pdf that gives a pictures of what I am talking about.
The idea would be is you have a DA template, artwork for the box art and disc cover that all match. Not a new concept at all. Just perhaps a newer design.
Let me know if you are interested, or perhaps just chat on some of the things you wish you had available in Architect.
I look forward to opening this dialogue. PM me if you would be interested in a BETA-ing.
