It just won’t open. I have tried to open it by:
    Double clicking the desktop shortcut
Right click>Open on the desktop shortcut
Double click and Right Click>Open on the “vegas100” application
    Start+R (run) as “vegas100.exe” doesn’t work.
    Restart computer didn’t work.
    Administrator privileges didn’t work.

PLEASE help me if you can, it worked a month ago but now (after nothing) it just won’t turn on.

Have you tried updating Sony Vegas or this happen randomly? A lot of random mishaps are corrected “magically” by just uninstalling/reinstalling Sony Vegas. Don’t know why but 85% of the time I can get back up and running after a clean install cycle.

Are you installing it by right clicking on the .exe and running as admin? Gotta do that with Win 7

Try this. Yesterday I had an issue vert similar and that that I had the speed of my mouse clicking way over to the maximum. I re set it to 50% and now I can click double click and get response. This may NOT.be your issue, but trying it may just rectify your problem. I can now activate Desktop Icon shortcuts to programs, when before nothing doing!

    Grazie
