I’m sorry if this is elementry, I was wondering if anyone knows if there’s away to script Vegas to use an Excel file (or any text list) to create about 100+ titles with the same style/properties.

Thanks, owe you one in advance.

PS I’m still on Vegas 7, so take it easy on me.

No. But you can import a text file into the Vegas Text Tool. Just highlight the text and hit CTRL-C, move to the Vegas Text Tool, click on the first blank line and hit CTRL-V.

However, I use VideoTagger Premium from Electric Happiness to make my credits from an Excel file. It’s not free, but not expensive either (I think it’s like $35.00). You set up default fonts, pick a style, and make an AVI file to drop on the Vegas Timeline.

Text Generation Wizard can do what you want.
It can create titles at markers or events. Appearance is fully customizable and is based on the selected text preset.

In addition, you can import titles from CSV files (comma separated file) and other formats.
It can be easily prepared in Excel.

    eg.:
    “00:00:00,000″,”00:00:05,000″,”Title 1”
    “00:00:10,000″,”00:00:15,000″,”Title 2”
    “00:00:25,000″,”00:00:30,000″,”Title 3”

    All the best.

Just noticed that you have Vegas 7.0, so this is not an option for you. Vegasaur requires Vegas Pro 8.0 or newer.
