Sharing Generated media across projects
I think I know the answer to this, but…
If I generate a title, or a credit roll, can I save it as a *NEW* media generator template to reapply across all projects?
Or secondly, can I render just that piece out to a separate stand alone bit of video, and then have it available as a resuseable bit of video inside Vegas?
The problem I’m trying to solve is that if I shoot a days worth of video shoots of different music videos, and we are going to roll them out week after week, I’d like to do my credits once, and have them available to use week after week without recreating them, as a choice inside the Media Generators window. I want to do that because I want to change, maybe one thing on the credits template I create each time, the name of the song, for example.
If this isn’t possible, I would love to see this as a feature enhancement. If recoding is needed, then could someone write a template that only allowed changes to the text fields, and shielded the user from the code?
Or is all this available in P.A.?

I think the best way to do what you want to do is to open two instances of Vegas and copy your media generated events from one to another. Hope this helps, Danny Hays

Yes, you can. Vegas allows to save custom presets (use it for static titles or effects) and plug-in packages (use it for dynamic titles or effects, with multiple plug-ins and keyframes)
