  • Need Assistance ASAP please – Vegas Render for DVDA-DVD video stretched on TV

    Hey all,
I need help with this – desperately.
    I have a simple 3 minute video – 1920×1080 @ 23.976 fps – finished in Vegas.
I am rendering for DVD Architect to burn DVD’s.
When I burn the DVD, and put it in the DVD player, and it comes up on my widescreen TV – the video is stretched wider – making people – and the picture – fat and stretched wide.

    Here’s what I’m doing:
    Vegas Render as follows:
    Render as Mainconcept Mpeg-2,
Template: DVD Architect 24p NTSC Video Stream (output type DVD 720-480, framerate 23.976 + 2-3 pulldown, Aspect Ratio 16:9)

    Then, in DVD Architect:
    New Project / Single Movie / Disc Format = DVD / Project Video Format = Mpeg2 720X480 60i, 16:9 (NTSC).

After burning, i drop it into the DVD player – hooked up to my widescreen TV, and it is stretched.

Which of these settings am I wrong with.

    Thanks

based on your post, it would seem you didn’t use the widescreen template/

    Douglass –
Can you clarify a little bit? Are you talking about the template in Vegas?

I mis-posted in my original post. The Template I am using is:
DVD Architect 24p NTSC Widescreen Video Stream
    Which has the following settings:
    Output Type: DVD
    720-480
    Frame Rate: 23.976 + 2-3 Pulldown
    16:9 Display

Is this not the right template?

    Thanks
