Creating an animated movie, right now using a video editing program and importing flash animation.

My question is, and I’m not even sure what this is called, if the frames overlap and don’t match — you get that awful jerky effect on the eye — where an image jumps or moves position — if I overlap the frames and they match — it’s seamless, gives the illusion of movement.

Maybe this is called matching or synching? I’m not sure. I don’t have AE but am wondering if there’s a tool to use to fix this? In Sony Vegas? Or if I have to make sure the backgrounds match, which is going to be almost impossible.

It’s a way to make the entry and exit of each frame in a clip, seamless so it views as a fluid animated movie.
