  This thread is meant to have us all share some Vegas tips and tricks. I thought it would be great to collaborate and create a valuable resource… in one place.

  I’ll start things off with something I posted in another thread which helped others.
  
  To copy a clip section without ‘splitting’ —

  just select the region and do a “copy”. Although it appears as though the entire clip will be copied (right-click,copy), then paste. Only the region is copied. Perfect!

  Here’s one… not really a “hidden” trick but I use this very often. If you’re a noob you’ll appreciate it.

  – Alt and drag, on a timeline clip and you’ll be slipping the clip within its boundaries. Vegas even provides you with a split window of beginning-end frames.
