  Timeline and Video Preview Problem SVP10

  When I press play on the timeline, I hear audio, but the cursor, counter, video preview is not moving…. ANY IDEAS what could be the problem?

  You may be playing the trimmer. Click on a track and try.

  Thanks for the feedback – I found the culprit. It was my audio device.

  I installed ProTools and started using MBOX2 a couple of days ago; I had set the MBOX2 as my audio device. When I changed my audio device back to default/Windows sound, the timeline, counter, preview worked fine.

  Now searching for fix to problem with MBOX2.

  What’s the problem with the MBOX? Protools should see and use it even with your Windows audio device set to default. Protools won’t even launch without the MBOX connected unless your using Protools 9.
