  mp4 editing problem

  I am using Vegas Pro 9 normally works well, but i find cant deal with mpeg-4 files. The video loads, but there is only sound no video shows in pre-view screen. On some Videos it said there is quicktime problem and prompted for update, did that but still cant do mp4.
  Kind of irritating with such a fairly pricey software, especially considering the free windows movie maker can handle it (but is handicapped by only having .wmv output).

  Any ideas?

  Make sure you’re running at least Pro 9.0d as there was a fix in it for QuickTime issues.

  yeah thanks , got myself later version (10.0) and now works fine
