Does .net framework have anything to do with running Vegas?
I’ve just installed a Bravo II printer and DVD maker and I noticed that it was installing it and I seem to remember something about Vegas using it as well. Does vegas use this?
What my disc installed was V.1.5 and I see it’s up to V.4 now.

Yes, Vegas Pro requires the .Net Framework in order to run scripts and has required it since Vegas 4. It install .Net automatically if you don’t have it. I believe Vegas Pro 10 requires .Net Framework 3.5.

    Also…

.net versions are not superseding. That is, if you have an application that requires .net version 2.0, and another that requires .net version 3.0, installing .net 3.0 will not satisfy the 2.0 requirements. You have to install both.
