    Hello,
Could you please test this on your Vegas 9?

    – Open a new project and put anything on timeline. (any still from Media Generator would be ok)
    – Render it as MP4 using MainConcept AVC/AAC encoder.
    – Choose Apple IPod 320×240 template and open Custom panel.
    – Set Frame Rate to 15,
    – Set Constant Bit Rate to 192.000

Vegas Pro 9 won’t render it due to “low memory” on my system while Vegas 6 does.

Do you also get a low memory error?

Check if one of the two temp folders you have somewhere in the settings is on a full (or almost) HDD.
It was some time ago I had the same issue and for me the problem was there.

My system has 4 HDs and the drive with lowest free space has ~6 GB free.

I assume it’s an issue regarding my system since no one replied saying they had a low memory error.

..or I’m asking the wrong question. May be I should ask `Anyone NOT seeing an error doing the test above?` to be sure that people actually test it.

I can confirm that I get the error in Pro 9.
It works just fine in Pro7, 8 and 10 so Sony broke something in Pro 9 but fixed it again in Pro 10.

Vegas 9 used to drive me crazy with this error. Once I went to v.10, problem went away completely.
