Sony – VASST NAB 2011
It was another great time at NAB 2011. John Rofrano, where were you? I heard you were busy. Sony had Faith Granger, writer, director and producer of “Deuce of Spades” explaining how she filmed and use Sony Vegas Pro which took her 4 years and a low budget. Faith was amazing and give her a lot of credit. Yes, Vegas Pro 10D is coming and the Sony Event was great. Looking forward to next years event. DSE, stick to skydiving and not throwing tee-shirts, LOL 🙂 Thanks for the Tee-shirt.

I wish I could have been there too but I had previous commitments that I couldn’t get out of. I do work several jobs, not all of them in video, so it’s tough to get all of them to agree on what time/time-off I have to do things. 🙁 Hopefully next year, because I do love talking with customers and peers.

I do have to say, this years Sony-VASST Event was one of the better ones. What really impressed me were the different guest speakers using Sony Vegas Pro in their line of work and seeing the results.

Yea, Vegas Pro is really taking off. Our own Roger Bansemer here at the COW was the featured user story in Sony’s newsletter this month. His PBS show “Painting & Travel with Roger and Sarah Bensemer” is editied and captioned entirely in Vegas Pro. You can read about it here:
