Transition only part of the screen
How would I transition only part of my screen? I want to use the Hard Flash transition for something that appears on part of the video but when I put that effect on, it flashes the entire screen.

A transition, by it’s very nature, operates on the entire frame. You would need to use an effect on the event that you can mask to just affect part of the video. I’m not sure what effect you are looking for but you could possibly use a glow with a mask to just effect one area of the frame.
