Photo pan/crop default to smooth
When using Event Pan/Crop on a still image in a slideshow I am having to change most of the keyframes from “linear” to “smooth.” Is there a way to change the default to smooth? I saw in the Help contents info about changing the Keyframe interpolation, and I tried changing it from 0 to 100, but I did not notice any difference. TIA, Jim

Danny, I had tried earlier going to External Control & Automation, and changed the new video FX keyframes to smooth, and clicked “apply,” but they remain linear. What am I doing wrong? Thanks, Jim

Start a new project, set external control & automation, “New video motion keyframes” to smooth. Now put a clip on the timelline, add keyframes to event pan and crop, they will be smooth. At least with Vegas Pro 9e. Hope this helps, Danny Hays

Thanks! It works in a new project. It does not work in the current project. That is why I could not get it to work right. At least, it will work for future projects. Thanks again, Jim
