  Weird RAM preview freeze

  Hi,

  Recently I’ve started to have a problem with my RAM previews. When doing a RAM preview, and either letting it finnish, or interrupting it by pressing space bar, i get the spinning beach ball for about 30 seconds.

  In the past (using cs3 all along) When I’d interrupt or finnish a RAM preview, it would play immediately, and now I have to wait a while… A

  Any ideas why??

  Using CS3 on osx 10.5.6 Leopard. iMac 2.16 with 3gb RAM.

  Turn off multiprocessing.

  It’s my first thought, but I know that sometimes it may happen even though multiprocessing is off.

  (I call this ball PIZZA, by the way).

  In such situations I try to use good old PC method: Restart everything. Sometimes it helps.
