  Bars (& tone?)

  I see where Vegas provides color bars, but where does it generate tone?

  Tone is generated when you are printing/outputting to tape.

  If you are not outputting to tape, the tone generator is in Sound Forge. If you don’t have Sound Forge I can probably post a project of bars n’ tone to my web site for you.
