  Interpret crash error message

  Hello, Vegas keeps crashing, wondering if anyone can interpret this error message

  Running Vegas 7 on a Windows 7, 3.4ghz quad Sandy Bridge, 16gb ram, GeForce 220 video. Not getting any crashes in any other apps

  Vegas 7 is quite old and not supported on Windows 7. Of course, it’s not support by Sony anymore either and unfortunately only the developers can interpret what that dump means. The exception you are seeing means that the error occurred while writing to memory in a location that it shouldn’t be writing to. This happened in the Microsoft runtimes on a video render thread. It’s anyone’s guess as to why it happened.

  It might be time to upgrade Vegas to something more modern. You’re only 3 versions behind. 😉
