  output to dvd

  I am new to vegas pro 9 and I’m experimenting.
  How and what settings do I use to output a project that can be played on a stand alone dvd player. Do i need other equpment, software etc?, am i missing something in the settings?.
  I shoot with a canon xl1s and want the quality to be as good. please advise.

  In Vegas Pro 9.0 you can use Tools | Burn Disc | DVD… to create a DVD without menus. If you want to produce a DVD with menus, you will need DVD authoring software like DVD Architect.
