HOW to cut/remove a part of a video in SVP9?
I seriously have issues when i want to cut out a part of a video i’ve imported… I need to REMOVE a part, but HOW do i do it?! The controls in SVP9 (paid version) are so difficult! i cannot use “delete”-button to delete stuff etc. It’s frustrating!
Anyway…
How do i do this?

Use the “S” key to make a Split on either side of the section you want to remove. Then highlight the section and press the delete key. Finally, move the event on the right over to the left to close the gap.

Oh my god….
I don’t understand! I go the part then i click “S” so I get those blue markers to appear. I then click and drag the part to mark the area i want to delete and then i hit “DELETE”, but NOTHING happens! Somehow that yellow loop region follow as i hold the mouse-button to mark the area… why does it do that?
oh, and YES, i did try to press “S”-button again once i marked the area i want to delete after pressing “Delete”-button didn’t seem to work…
What AM i doing wrong here?!

I’m sorry if I wasn’t clear. You use the ‘S’ key twice and the Delete key once. Here is a step-by-step:
- Press ‘S‘ to split the beginning
- Press ‘S‘ to split the ending
- Click the event between the two splits to highlight it
- Press ‘Delete‘ to delete the split out event
