I’ve set up a PSD with two layers, each containing a Pattern Overlay layer style. I import it into After Effects CS4 as a Composition with Editable Layer Styles. Then, without any expressions or keyframes, the top layer with the Pattern Overlay moves from the center to upper-left corner in about 5 seconds. The bottom layer style does the same thing, although not as drastic. The layers themselves do not move. Is there a bug with Editable Layer Styles in CS4?

Any time that you think that you’re seeing a bug, don’t hesitate to file a bug report.

To report bugs, send a detailed bug report (including information about the version number of your software, some details about your computer, et cetera) to aebugs@adobe.com. It helps if you attach a project that shows the bug.

To submit feature requests, fill out the feature-request form.

You can also submit bug reports through the feature-request form if that’s more convenient for you.
