  Video effect – framed images within the main frame

  Just putting together a video with Vegas and I would like to create the effect of multiple images that are separated by black lines. CSI Miami does this quite often. While I could probably do this the very long way with overlays I was wondering if there is a plugin available that would make this a snap?

  If you mean assemble the images in a matrix it is very easy to do with Track Motion. VASST Ultimate S Pro can automate the process for you if you’re looking for a “one-click” plug-in. Just use the Hollywood Squares effect on the Special Effects tab. You can download a trial and see if it does what you want. The trial is fully functional for 15 days.
