Activity Forums VEGAS Pro Major problem- Event/Pan and Crop

When I click the event/pan and crop tool my Sony Vegas Pro 10 just flashes. I think I docked it somewhere that I can’t find.

I’ve tried several “solutions” such as lowering my res, moving out most of the docked panels and everything else. I just can’t find it :/

And no, restoring default settings doesn’t work.
Please, I really need help. Any ideas?

[Taylor Hood] “And no, restoring default settings doesn’t work.”

Try View | Windows Layouts | Default Layout.

That is exactly what I just said doesn’t work.
Vegas keeps docked panels where they were last placed.

Auto-hide your task bar and see if it shows up at the bottom.

Hm, how would I go about doing that?

    Thanks.

Start – Settings – Taskbar and Start Menu – Autohide the taskbar.

This is for XP and may be different in Vista and Win 7.

Changing the screen resolution usually brings hidden windows back on the screen, then set it back. Hope this helps, Danny Hays

In addition to screen resolution, it may also be on the 2nd monitor if you’ve configured dual monitors. I place some of these screens on my 2nd monitor by dragging them. If you still have dual monitors set and you don’t have the 2nd monitor on, those windows will seem “hidden” because you can’t see the 2nd monitor’s display. Changing the screen layout will have no effect on the pan/crop docked window if it was dragged to the 2nd monitor. That is, once dragged to monitor #2 it will stay there regardless of layout presets. However, all windows on the 2nd monitor should revert to the single monitor once reconfigured to a single monitor system. Have you recently changed your monitor settings?
