  Source Timecode

  Hi guys, can someone tell me is there a way to save time by adding source code to all the clips in my project media at once or do I have to add it to each individual clip via media fx as I do now ?

  Tools > Scripting > Add Timecode to All Media

  It used to be that you had to apply this FX to the clips while they were still in the Project Media tab (one at a time – painful with a lot of clips) but, with recent versions of Vegas, this script applies it even while they’re on the timeline.

  Thanks for the help guys.
  I have Movie Studio Hd Platinum 10, looks like I have to do it manually still as there does not seem to be anything like ‘scripting’ located under tools in this version !!(unless I am going blind??)

  You’re not going blind John.
  Scripting is a feature that’s available in the Pro version only so you’re going to have to do it manually.
