    I have made videos but they are not on a green screen and I need to removie the background.
    Im just wodnering if there is a way of doing this.
    As iv looked at keying and the colours in the face start to disapear.
    I need this for my University course and am screwed 🙁
    any help will be appreciated!

    If your videos are already shot, then there’s not much you can do outside of rotoscoping (masking) out each individual frame. If reshooting is an option, if you lock the camera on a tripod, shoot a clean plate (without talent) and then another shot with your talent, you can pull a difference matte.

    Thanks, Yeah I really am regretting it although It was not available to me at the time.
    I was just searching for a solution but I think the best thing would be to jus re-shoot the whole footage.

    Removing improperly designed shot elements from improperly shot footage is more difficult and far more expensive than simply doing it properly.
    Keying is rarely a one-button solution. Many of us require several different setting or different keyers applied to several copies of the same footage in order to extract a perfect matte.

    You can explore chromakey technique on the Internet for days but there’s a really good reason Keylight is set up for green or blue. You will quickly regret no having shot your footage correctly if your intent was to extract the background.
