arm for record not working
Posted by Andy King on November 16, 2010 at 8:42 amI am using Sony Vegas 10 and need to record dialogue on my project. I cannot get the Arm for record button to respond to my clicking. Perhaps some pre-conditions are missing? Can anyone suggest what to do please?

November 16, 2010 at 5:08 pmWhat kind of sound card are you using? Is it showing up in your, options, Preferences, audio tab? Select the asio for your card if it’s available and relaunch or reboot, and see if this helps, Danny Hays

I had the same problem about two weeks ago. I had plugged into my front inputs and the sound card was looking for signal on the rear inputs. I brought up sound mixer, recording devices, and selected front as my input and ‘arm for record’ was no longer greyed out.
