I, like many others in various forums that I’ve come across tonight, am having audio sync issues when exporting. When viewing my work in AE ram preview is fine but when I export to Quicktime, Video for Windows, or FLV the audio is out of sync from the video.

-Both Audio and Video import to AE at 48.000khz/16 Bit U/Stereo
-the Audio details for the .wav file on my comp show 1536kbps
-the audio bit rate on my video files is also 1536kbps
-My comp settings are PAL D1/DV default 25fps
-In render que I set the audio output to (default)44.100khz and also tried 48.000khz to match the imported files- neither has worked correctly.

    What am I doing wrong??

Please advise on how I can resolve this issue…Thanks in advance

I’ve never heard of audio sync being common at all and I read lots of AE forums. I render projects between 10 seconds to 2 minutes in length and have never expereienced an audio sync problem since AE was CoSA.

But let’s see what we can do for you:

Are your exporting or rendering from AE?
    How long is your project?
At what point does the audio start to lose sync?
Is it longer or shorter than the video?

In addition to bogiesan’s questions … when you import the rendered vid back into AE, drop it into a comp and RAM preview it, do you have the same problem at the same point in time?
