Hopefully I’m not missing something too obvious here but this is driving me slightly nuts

Basically I want to create a dvd with two days of a recent cycling trip cut into two chapters with a menu.
First time I rendered it as one video expecting to be able to use markers to seperate the two chapters as with other software I have used.
When the rendering was complete the software sent me straight into architect studio but I could see no way of seperating the clip into chapters despite the markers, so I then rendered the two days seperately, saving them to file, then imported them into dvd architect studio 5 which seemed to be the answer.
What really surprised me was the re-rendering required in architect studio, I thought I had used a format that did not require further rendering (mainconcept mpeg2) but the whole thing took as long as the initial rendering in vegas movie studio HD, and the end quality was not great.
It’s annoying as I can really see the potential of learning this software, so any help would be appreciated

Insertion of markers in DVD Architect is exactly the same as Vegas Pro, position cursor, hit M and name the marker. Once your markers are set scene selection will work for sub-menus.

Render your audio as AC3 and video as Mpeg2 as separate files. The audio Codec for Mpeg2 is the culprit here.

Thanks for the reply, I will try again later today, this is some great sotware but it isn’t an easy journey.
