  Audio CD record problem

  I have newly installed Vegas Pro 10.0a (build 387) running on a 3ghz dual pentium machine, 2 gig memory.

  I am attempting to burn CDs with 8 or 10 tracks. Vegas gives every indication that the burn is successful. When I check the disc, all of the tracks are there. But there is audio sometimes for only a few seconds of the first track, or throughout every track until the 9th or 10th track.

  Using Nero I can burn all the tracks without incident. So it isn’t my burner. I haven’t tried an early version of Vegas (8 and 9 are on the machine).

  Is this a bug in the new version or have I missed something very obvious (one of my best skills).

  I’ve tried the ultimate workaround- doing the same task with Vegas Pro 9. No problems.

  Have we found a bug here? Anyone in Madison taking note?
