  Text question

  Hi!
  I am trying to label 3 pictures that are all in the same pic/event. I want the labels to appear one after the other during the event’s time frame. I can do this by adding a new generated text box for each label, but is there a way to do this in one box? Right now, I have added a new box for each label, but this means i have to use multiple tracks (one on top of the other to control timing) I understand how to make all 3 labels in one text box and make them appear individually with key framing, but it won’t let me edit the placement of each label individually, they are all clumped together and move together when I try to edit them. Any ideas? thanks!!!

  The secret to controlling placement of generated text is to NOT use Free Form. Set the placement to Bottom Left, Center Left, etc. anything but Free Form and the text should stay in place when you keyframe it.
