Windows 7 for VEGAS 10
Posted by Thomas Lenler-eriksen on October 5, 2010 at 6:55 amHello. We have been using Windows XP for our PCs for a while but now we want to upgrade it to Windows 7. We are using Sony Vegas Hd 10 Platinum (Production Suite) and it wont run properly with Windows XP. So we are installing Windows 7 to get more power. But alas there are 6(?) versions of W7, so what I want to ask You about is: Which version will be the best for Sony Vegas Hd 10?
Kind regards
Thomas

They are all good for Movie Studio HD… the question is which one is right for you? I use Windows 7 Home Premium and it is fine for my work and allows for up to 1 CPU with unlimited cores and 16GB of memory. If you have 2 physical CPU’s you will need Windows 7 Professional.
If you have 2GB of memory or less, install the 32-bit version. If you have 3GB of memory or more install the 64-bit version.
