Video in Sony
I don’t seem to get any video in Vegas Pro 9d. If I put a movie any codec only the audio track is going to work and play.

Vegas Pro 9.0e is the latest version so you should upgrade to that just to make sure you are not seeing a known bug.
If the video does not show up it is because you do not have the VFW codec installed that the file needs. You can use a free utility like GSpot to determine what codec the video file uses. Then download and install just the codec that you need. Do not install a “codec pak” as those will do more harm than good.
Note: If you are using the 64-bit version of Vegas Pro you will need to install the corresponding 64-bit version of the codec (if it even exists).
