  Cineform, dv film deinterlacing

  Hello,

  After doing a search on the https://www and the forums here, I remain with a
  frustrating deinterlacing problem. I have dv 720 x 576, 16:9 PAL footage and I rendered this in Sony Vegas to PAL Widescreen avi.

  When I play that with Windows media player it shows the rendered avi widescreen footage ok.

  1. I use DV film to deinterlace the footage and it gives me PAL 4:3, not 16:9 widescreen, as a result.

  2. I turned ot Cineform HD link to deinterlace and that also gives me PAL 4:3 as a result.

  I believe I’ve set the settings to get 16:9 widescreen but no luck…

  Anybody now what the problem is here?

  I don’t know what your final target is but why not just change the PAL Widescreen template to render progressive (deinterlaced) and forget those other programs?
