Sony Vegas Pro 9 Render Problem
Hi. I made a fragmovie with 2 minutes. When you arrive at 60% / 70% arises the following problem:
“An error occurred while fragmovie.avi Creating the media file.
The system is low on memory. You May Be Able Reduce memory usage by closing other applications ”Someone help me? Even starting the computer and doing soon render the error continues.

It sounds like you are running low on memory. What operating system are you using? How much memory is in your computer? what version of Vegas are you using? and what is the resolution and codec does your source video files use.

Frame rate: 29,970 (NTSC)

Are you using Vegas Pro 9.0e? (you should be) Are you using the 32-bit version of Windows 7 and/or the 32-bit version of Sony Vegas Pro 9.0? This will limit you to only 2GB of memory. Still that should not affect 1280×720 video. Are there any FX around the 60% mark that would consume more memory?
Also how many cores do you have? 4 cores with only 2GB of memory could cause a problem. If this is the case, try reducing your rendering threads (Options | Preferences | Maximum number of rendering threads) to 2 or 1 and see if that helps.

How many disk drives do you have? With one you could easily be running out of TEMP space and Dynamic Memory space.

With colour setting that you left me the problem still appeared.

That means you are limited to 2GB of memory. What is your RAM preview set to? (Options | Preferences | Video then look under Dynamic RAM Preview max (MB)). Try setting it to zero and see if that helps.

Problem resolved but now came another. I did render in .wmv and appears only the audio and the video disappeared

Are you sure you selected WMV and not WMA? They are right next to each other in the drop-down list and WMA is audio only.

Yeah I’m sure jr. I went to check the file and is in .wmv
This is very strange.
