    Hello there,

I just got my first paid animation project. All my own work so far has been 800×600 resolution, in Vegas, with no problems. But this one must be widescreen, in 16:9 format.

I just can’t get it to work. I need help badly here, folks, because this is simply something I can’t work out on my own! Here’s an illustrated screencap process shot of my problem:

Basically, Vegas refuses to render at 16:9 reolution and keeps giving me huge black borders. Deadlines are looming and I don’t know what to do.

Upfront, I’m not aware of this issue and could be wasting your time, but have you tried reducing your image sizes (WxH)?

From your images, it appears the problem is not aspect but dimensions.

Ah, no… disregard that! I believe I’ve fixed it.
