  • Fade in to slowmotion?

Now i’m helping a friend with a montage, and i just have 1 problem.
That is when i want slowmotion, i would like it to fade in to the slowmotion, i wonder how i can do this?

The way i do my slowmotion is to cut the clip where i want the slowmotion, then i rightclick and go properties, then i change the playback rate to the slowmotion i want (in my case it’s 0.405 i’ll do).

So i just wonder, how can i make it fade in and out?

Right click on your clip, then go to “insert/remove envelope”
    and then click on “velocity”
That will put a line on the clip. You can click on a spot on that line and drag it to make the clip speed up or slow down.

    Hi there!

There is actually a blue corner at the end of every clip that you insert on your video. You can click that and drag it towards the middle of your clip. There will be a bow in your video clip. You do the same with the other (depents where you want it, on the beginning of the clip or the end). When you slide them over eachother your clips will fade into another ;).

Quick tip, you can easly slowmotion a clip by holding down your ctrl key and drag your clip 🙂
