Trim/Split original M2TS from Canon HF100
I am trying to find a way to split original M2TS clips from an HF100, discard unwanted portions and keep only desired portion, without having to convert, transcode, render, etc. I also have an HF200 which allows me to do this in-camera. Is there any software that will accomplish this? Seems it’s got to be fairly simple if it exists onboard within the HF200 model, but I’ve found no solution. Will Pixela (which I couldn’t get stable on Vista) accomplish this (without the need to render, convert, etc. In other words, just retaining the portion of the original clip desired)? If so, is Pixela stable on Windows 7 64 bit, which I am currently running? Again, I simply want to trim the original file, delete the unwanted portions and keep the rest, basically the same as I do in-camera with HF200. Any help would be sooooo appreciated.
I’ve searched the web and various forums but no joy. If I’ve missed it here, my apologies.
